- I agree with all the above as long as the Floppy drive connected to the
- external port would be considered DF0: and remain compatible!

- P.S. Someone else here said the new design was for a new "CDTV" or "CD32"
- - I highly doubt that.. why waste redesigning it without a new chip set
- and I doubt they have a new chipset out that could meet or beat the
- chipsets in the Playstation yet! They said they were redesigning the
- CD32 so it would be more competive.. what would make it more competetive
- (besides a new chip set) then it being a CD-ROM based game
- machine/personal computer? In essence they would be combining the CD32
- AND SX-1 expansion unit into the same unit enabling it to have a
- keyboard, mouse, hard drive, CD-ROM drive, external floppy easier
- expansion of memory etc... thus A1200+ as the CD32 is basically an A1200
- motherboard with a CD-ROM drive. So that other poster is partially
- correct, it is the new "CD-32" but I think I am right with it being the
- A1200+ - what better way to attract games companies back then with a
- standard CD-ROM in all low end computers sold creating better games and
- cracks down on piracy!
